White Trash Cooking Month! Gourmet Recipe #3: Scalloped Potatoes

OK, I will admit right now that none of the pictures in this post are mine.  I totally stole them from the internet because I was much too lazy to actually make the meal I'm going to tell you about.  That's because Mr. C and I are currently at my parents', shoving sugar in our mouths, and I just don't have time to whip up dinner for someone else.

Even if this is another disgustingly simple meal.

1) Slice up, say, 5 potatoes
2) Cube up a ham steak
3) Cube up half a carton of Velveeta
4) Make a couple of layers of each in a square baking dish.
5) Pour milk over everything until the level of milk is about halfway up the layers.
(something like that)

6) Add salt and pepper to taste.
7) Cover with tinfoil until nearly done; cook at about 400 until potatoes are tender (45-60 minutes, depending on your goopiness preference).

Enjoy!  Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm absolutely exhausted from all this typing and most go find that old biscotti I think I saw in the back of my mom's pantry.
