Alcohol and BonBons

I rearranged this week's Cookie Co-Op selection so I could have extra offerings of the Spring Juju Lemon Cream Cookies pictured directly above.  I had them out at today's playgroup session, which was a "Summertime Blues" party.


I set up Mr. C's wading pool in our living room and filled it with those soft balls you find at kids' play places in McDonald's and such.

Four moms and their toddlers came over, and the kids spent the morning in surprisingly-controlled chaos, throwing themselves around in the ball pit and only kicking each other a few times.  For our part, the moms watched from the couches whilst sipping key lime margaritas.  Yes.  At ten in the morning.  Because, when you are a housewife, you are expected to do such things.
